CROWN Initiative
Capacity Building and Resilience Open Learning Web-based Network (CROWN) is free, open-access initiative of Areta Aramak Research Services aiming to improve the capacity of health workforce in public health, epidemiology, management, and trending topics, tailored priorly for the context of Afghanistan.
The programs offered under the CROWN initiative are completely free with certificate issued after completion. Each program has been designed based on international reference books, complemented with latest evidence in corresponding area integrated within the modules to help participants move forward with the science and fill their capacity gaps.
We believe in equity of accessibility to sustain and expand competent workforce pipeline as cornerstone of public health improvement. We at Areta Aramak believe that CROWN does not replace formal higher education modalities but helps workforce in expanding their technical portfolio and address emerging trends with better preparedness.
Intro to Health Research & Epidemiology
This course is a basic alphabet-level program designed to carry out the primary ideas behind health research and epidemiology.
Public Health Emergency
This intermediate-level course is designed to convey concepts behind public health emergency management and its relevant steps and processing.
